The Cannon Foundation awards IFB Solutions with a Grant

The Cannon Foundation awarded IFB Solutions with a $50,000 grant in August 2020. This grant will allow IFB Solutions to convert manufacturing facilities in Winston-Salem and Asheville, NC to LED lighting. Consistent lighting is vital on the production floor and assists our employees with low vision.

The Winston-Salem Foundation awards IFB Solutions with an Adaptation Grant

The Winston-Salem Foundation awarded IFB Solutions with an Adaptation Grant for $5,000 in April 2020. This specific grant covers expenses related to technology, equipment, cleaning products and sanitizers that IFB Solutions needed to purchase so our employees could work remotely or feel safer working at IFB Solution due to COVID-19.

High Point Community Foundation awards IFB Solutions with grant for Focus on Literacy

The High Point Community Foundation awarded IFB Solutions with a $6,785 grant in November 2019 for Focus on Literacy through the Mobile Vision Center Program. These funds will help IFB Solutions serve K-12 students who have unique low vision needs in the High Point area.

First Bank Awards IFB Solutions with a $5,000 grant to Assist with Training

These funds will go toward training 5 people who are blind or visually impaired, plus covering the cost of a trainer who is blind. Workforce Development Through Training and Education is a year-round program designed for people who are blind or visually impaired. It allows them to get the job skills and tools to perform duties with the same level of quality and productivity as their sighted peers.

The Dollar General Literacy Foundation Award for Focus on Literacy Program

September 5th, 2019

IFB Solutions was awarded a $4,000 grant from the Dollar General Literacy Foundation. This grant will be used for the Focus on Literacy Program. With this grant, IFB Solutions will be able to purchase two Braille Displays. These displays will help up to 100 program participants who are blind or visually impaired to learn how to read Braille and support literacy initiatives.

IFB Solutions Awarded Grant for Focus on Literacy Programs in Henderson County

April 12th, 2019

IFB Solutions was awarded $15,000 in April from the Community Foundation of Henderson County. The grant will be used for the Focus on Literacy Program through ensuring greater access to independent learning outside of the classroom, specifically covering the cost of eye exams and specialty equipment.
