Fiona’s Freedom and Independence Fund

Fiona was a cherished four-legged member of the Jessica Abrahams and Chris Fleming family for over 16 years. Jessica’s anchor and guardian angel, Fiona and her soulfulness, self-determined spirit, and sense of humor will live on at IFB Solutions and beyond in the years to come.

With the founding donation of $40,000 presented by the Abrahams/Fleming family, IFB Solutions announces the creation of the Fiona’s Freedom and Independence Fund. The Fund will ensure each guide dog of IFB employees who are blind has access to excellent care and is loved, so that each member of Fiona’s new pack is able to enthusiastically support their handlers’ independent adventures.

Through Fiona’s Freedom and Independence Fund, IFB Solutions will be able to enhance our grooming and wellness programs for guide dogs, offer a peer network support group and educational opportunities for the guide dogs’ handlers. IFB Solutions will further invest in improving and beautifying outdoor spaces at its main facilities in Winston-Salem and Asheville, NC to ensure safe, healthy, and stress-free environments for guide dogs and their owners.

The Fund will continue accepting donations in perpetuity. You can donate to the fund directly using the form below. Questions? Contact Tatiana Russell at trussell@ifbsolutions.org or 336-245-5791.
