Congratulations Asheville Employees!

As of November10 2022, Asheville employees reached 2500 days without a Lost Time Accident! The last Lost Time Accident at Asheville was on January 4 2016. Reaching this milestone took every single employee working safely every single second of every single workday. It also took employees looking out for each other as well as reporting safety concerns in a timely manner.

While our safety record is impressive, the important thing to remember is that while employees may have gone home tired after a hard day, they went home uninjured and safe. Great job Asheville and STAY SAFE!

Winston-Salem Cafeteria Update

We’re excited to have the Canteen beverage and snack vending installed and running! All pricing reflects a 20% discount off of Canteen standard pricing, covered by IFB Solutions. Because of the wide selection and range of pricing, the best way to find a specific price is to scan at the register. You can delete items off before paying if you choose not to purchase.

The selection is broad, and each item is individually priced to give you the lowest possible cost. Here’s a few prices to give an idea:

  • Coke and Pepsi 20 oz. bottles: $1.40
  • Starbucks bottled coffees, $2.74
  • Lance cracker packs, $0.68
  • Grandmas cookies, $1.06
  • Other assorted snacks, from Pop Tarts to Beef Jerky, $0.83 – $1.99

The payment system accepts credit and debit cards, as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay. To pay with cash, you must create an account, which you can do at the register, and use the register to pre-load funds with cash into your account. Note only bills are accepted, not coins.

Please note that cameras are installed to monitor inventory and register activity. IFB Solutions pays for each missing product; stealing any items constitutes stealing from your employer.

We will continue to update everyone with answers to frequently asked questions and feedback we receive from folks using the Canteen Setup.
