HR Update – Open Enrollment

Open Enrollment has officially opened in Paycom. Open Enrollment is your annual opportunity to make changes to your Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance without a Qualifying Event.

GREAT NEWS! There has been no rate increases for the 2022-2023 Medical, Dental or Vision plan year.

NEED HELP? For Asheville and Little Rock Facilities – please connect with your on-site HR manager. For the Winston-Salem Facility, Open Enrollment Meetings will be held in TADs Room on the dates and times listed below. These are voluntary meetings for those employees that have questions, need to enroll, or make changes to their current benefits. Employees, let your supervisors know which meeting you would like to attend so that we can assure that group sizes remain small as we continue to practice social distancing. Supervisors, please provide a list of those employees that would like to attend the meetings to Ana Bracetty.

MEETING SCHEDULE: Time: 9:00 am – 1:00 pm. Location: TADs Room
• Tuesday, May 24, 2022
• Wednesday, May 25, 2022
• Thursday, May 26, 2022

If you don’t want to make any changes, you don’t need to do anything. Your plans will remain the same and automatically roll over into the next plan year. If you would like to change your plans, let your supervisor know and HR will set up a time to assist you between May 23rd and June 2nd. Please Note: Thursday, June 2nd is the last day to make changes.

Programs and Services

The NFB support group in Winston-Salem is collecting broken or used canes.

These canes will be cleaned up and repaired for people who are blind in third world countries that do not have access to canes for safe travel. We will be collecting canes through the end of September. Please support this effort by putting your broken or used canes in the collection box located in the TADS room by the braille cabinet. You can also give your canes to an NFB member.

 Opportunities

We are HeRe for you!

Thank you to everyone that attended the Mental Health Lunch and Learn!

We feel that many of you enjoyed the sessions and many are already looking forward to an additional Lunch and Learn down the road. During the sessions, there were several things that Andy Hagler, from the Mental Health Association in Forsyth County, mentioned that are helpful when dealing with stressful situations. We feel that everyone can benefit from these helpful tips. When dealing with stress, try these different tips: show compassion to yourself and others, being thankful and returning kindness can help your health, laugh a little at different times, take deep breaths, unplug from technology occasionally, restore your brain and body by getting adequate rest, connect with people you like and who inspire you, feel inspired whether by nature, people, or self, and thinking positive thoughts. Please contact Haleigh Yarboro if you would like a flyer with more in depth notes on these topics.

Just a friendly reminder!

The Winston Salem location has a $250 referral bonus program for any current employee that refers a blind or visually impaired candidate or sighted/temporary candidate to IFB.
Please contact HR for referral bonus program criteria. Associates at other locations should ask your HR Manager or supervisor for the specific programs available at your location.
