Tips for a Safe and Productive Workplace: Personal Devices

IFB Solutions has put several processes in place to keep everyone safe at work. We will be sharing workplace safety tips in the next few editions of the IFB Beat and would like all employees to please adhere to these rules. In the August 14 edition we shared the procedure to access the building. This week we share guidelines regarding your personal devices. Thank you for helping us keep everyone safe!

  • No talking on cell phones or listening to radios is allowed while walking throughout the building.
  • When using ear buds or headsets while working, one ear should remain uncovered / unplugged at all times.
  • The use of any recording device such as, but not limited to, digital cameras, video cameras, and cell phone cameras, within the premises of all IFB Solutions’ properties is prohibited unless authorized for business purposes.

Thank you,

Angela Jordan Director of Safety and Environmental Health

What’s Happening on The Floor: Winston-Salem Facility General Assembly – Monday, August 28

Attention Winston-Salem facility employees: there will be a General Assembly meeting held on the manufacturing floor on August 28 at 3:15 pm. We’re looking forward to presenting employee of the month awards for June and July as well as updates and remarks from Dan Kelly, President and CEO.

Supervisors, please be sure to shut down all equipment, fans and other things that contribute to noise on the manufacturing floor promptly at 3:15. If your workspace is not close to the central offices (outside Pedro Rojas and Edward Sykes’ doors), please move closer to ensure you can hear. Any office administration working in the building, your presence will be appreciated.

S.E.E. Day Campers Tyquan, Molly, and Tanner enjoying hands on science activities at Kaleideum North

The S.E.E. Day Campers Lucas with assistance from Jessica, Jacob, Brandon, Tyquan, Molly, and Tanner enjoyed hands on science activities at Kaleideum North to end summer camp for this year.

It’s back to school time again. S.E.E. After School is starting on Tuesday, September 5. Please do not park in the schoolhouse parking lot after 2 PM Monday through Thursday from September through June 6. This will ensure that we have spaces for our buses, parents, staff, and volunteers to park. It will also give plenty of room for us to unload students that use wheelchairs. We appreciate your respect and consideration.
