IFB Solutions to produce 10,000 masks for the US. Air Force

Local nonprofit IFB Solutions, the largest employer of people who are blind or visually impaired in the country, has started production on 10,000 masks for the U.S. Air Force at its Winston-Salem facility. IFB, which already makes a variety of apparel products for the government, including apparel, mattresses and office supplies, quickly ramped up a mask production line and employee training. IFB Solutions Mobile Clinic Helps Visually Impaired Kids in High Point

Thanks to a grant from the High Point Community Foundation, the IFB Solutions mobile clinic brings its resources, including eye exams, to families in High Point. IFB Solutions’ Community Low Vision Center helps students are visually impaired by provided resources like the mobile clinic and devices designed to help students with visual impairment. Students with low vision use these resources to learn how to read independently, complete homework assignments and develop their abilities and talents in the home environment.

IFB Moves its Twenty200 Optical Shop to High-Profile Location

IFB Solutions of Winston-Salem, the largest employer of people who are blind or visually impaired in the country, has move its Twenty200 Eyewear optical store to a higher-profile location.

The nonprofit this week opened its new store at 631 Coliseum Dr. NW in Winston-Salem. IFB previously operated an optical store on its North Point Drive campus.
